"... being a Linux user is sort of like living in a house inhabited by a large family of carpenters and architects. Every morning when you wake up, the house is a little different. Maybe there is a new turret, or some walls have moved. Or perhaps someone has temporarily removed the floor under your bed."

Re: [SOLVED] ldconfig multiple warnings during system update.

sudo LC_ALL=C pacman -Qkk | grep -v ', 0 altered files'

You'll have to re-install some packages, eg. libdcerpc-binding.so is from smbclient but there's also libpoppler and god knows what non-library file is compromised.

The cause is likely related to https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 0#p2170380 and the power button.

One at a time or can it be done "in bulk"?

Most probably.

Re: [SOLVED] ldconfig multiple warnings during system update.

All of the ones that have altered files but aren't listing 'backup' files will need reinstalled and it should go fine.

All of those that list 'no mtree file' will need reinstalled, and will likely be a problem. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman … )%22_error

Re: [SOLVED] ldconfig multiple warnings during system update.

Avoid the --override parameter, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/System … n_commands
Reinstall the ones w/ mossing or broken mtree's first w/ "pacman -S --dbonly <package>" and then properly (w/o --dbonly) which will ideally leave you w/o any file conflicts.

Most packages w/ only 1 or 2 deviations are gonna be ok, eg. systemd is most likely a different GID on /var/log/journal ?
