[SOLVED]Firefox crashes - AMD GPUs - core::slice::<T>::copy_from_slice

Since the 125.0.3 update, Firefox has had frequent crashes.

I'm just posting this here since I'm not really sure if it is a Firefox issue, and Arch package issue, or an AMD GPU driver issue. I couldn't find any reports on it, so not sure if it is an already reported issue or already fixed for the next release.

Looking at the crash stats for the issue here: https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/signatu … =1#summary

It seems the common items are Arch Linux, Firefox 125.0.3 or 126.0b0, and AMD Graphics Adapter.

Likely the kernel bug with streaming VRAM without resizable BAR: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 3#p2169773

Thanks for pointing that out. Sounds like it is the issue.
