systemd 255.6-1 does not trigger mkinitcpio hook

After updating systemd from 255.5-4 to 255.6-1 no mkinitcpio hook kicks in. Early boot message (udev) still shows 255.5-4 (updates properly after manual mkinitcpio generation).

I guess (technically) its ok (just a cosmetical issue) as probably none of the mkinitcpio [Trigger] were hit (no files in these folders were changed). On the other hand (and to be picky here) its a bug and should be fixed (maybe add another systemd trigger that handles this).

Ideas?

It's not cosmetic if you're using the ukify option or systemd in the initramfs.

/etc/pacman.d/hooks/90-mkinitcpio-fix.hook:

[Trigger]
Type = Package
Operation = Install
Operation = Upgrade
Target = systemd

[Action]
Description = Updating linux initcpios...
When = PostTransaction
Exec = /usr/share/libalpm/scripts/mkinitcpio install
NeedsTargets
