This issue happen on recent months update, why i know that? because i create a tools, in that tools, i run wav like following:

cat success.wav |aplay

It work since the last run several months ago, but no sound for now.

Thanks

EDIT:

i test mpg123 with a mp3 file use following command, get same result.

cat success.mp3 |mpg123 -

so, this probably not a issue about aplay, it probably cause by "pipewire-pulse" ?

Re: aplay wav no sound first time, but have sound if run twice immedately.

the issue is not describe clear enough, right?

Simply to say,  the first time running `aplay -vvvv success. wav`,  no sound, and then running it again immediately, sound is correctly.

Then, after a while (10+ seconds), run above command again, no sound again, repeat above process.
