I am using vscodium with vscodium-bin-marketplace extension. I wrote a hello world c program and when I tried to run the file by clicking on "Run C/C++" dropdown menu, I got greeted with a gdb(launch) window. When I clicked on gdb(launch) it gave me a error saying a.out file doesn't exist in that directory. So I clicked on "open launch.json" to open the launch.json file. Now in the launch.json file when I click on "Add Configuration" button (at the extreme bottom right corner) it gives me a list of options. I don't know what to do now. G++ and gcc compilers are installed by default in all linux distros but idk why vscodium cannot detect my C compiler. I am facing the same problem with vscode.
