Can't connect to wifi with NetworkManager

Hello.
When trying to connect to my home network with 

 nmcli dev wifi connect SSID

or 

 nmcli con up UUID

it shows an error.

Error: Connection activation failed: The Wi-Fi network could not be found

It looks like the AP isn't in reach but  that could mean anything.
Please post your complete system journal for the boot: 

sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st

(wpa_supplicant will hopefully know more and maybe there're HW related issues. And please never copy and paste out of the pager as it truncates lines)

You've NM and dhcpcd enabled concurrently and they trip over each other => stop and disable dhcpcd.

There might be more to this - also disable networkmanager, reboot and try to connect to the wifi w/ wifi-menu from the netctl package.

I stopped dhcpcd and networkmanager. After the reboot "sudo wifi-menu" fails to scan for networks.

Did you also disable them? (otherwise they start w/ the reboot)
Do you have a journal covering the wifi-menu attempt?

Since there're quite some partitions, do you have a parallel windows installation?
In that case see the 3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.

Yes, I have parallel windows installation. I disabled fast boot as per your link, rebooted linux and windows twice, but it didn't help.

No attempts to connect, only to scan for some. Error message was like
"Scanning for networks... failed
No networks found"

Yeah, it finally worked when connecting using iw, thank you! I guess I won't be able to connect using Network Manager?

You should only be able to scan, but not connect to a protected network using iw.
