KDE Connect not working outside of KDE

i'm trying to get kdeconnect working on sway, i have it launching kdeconnect indicator on sway launch, but when i try starting the kdeconnectd service it says this. it works fine in kde

Please post text, not images of text. It's damn inefficient.

Can you start kdeconnect app as app?

kdeconnect doesn't ship with a systemd service, but with a dbus service. I don't know how to start it.

You can manually start it by executing this:
/usr/lib/kdeconnectd
