Greetings Arch linux users,
Before upgrading to plasma 6 I was using latte dock, but that is no longer an option. I would like to add a second plasma panel, but when I right click on the desktop I do not get an "add panel" option (my options are Configure desktop and wallpaper, Configure display settings, Create new ->, Icons, Paste clipboard contents..., Undo:Trash, Refresh desktop, Enter edit mode).
Is there a way to add another panel from the console? Is there another way to add a second panel?
I am running Arch Linux with Kernel: 6.8.9-arch1-2, DE: Plasma 6.0.4, WM: kwin, WM Theme: radial-thin, Theme: Sweet [Plasma], Icons: BeautyLine

Select "Enter Edit Mode" and then at the top of the screen you will see a few buttons, including one to add a panel.
There is a bug with entering edit mode while the floating panel at the bottom is not in its floating mode, so press super + d first (or close programs) so that you're on your desktop and then do it.

Thank you Nikolai5 for your response.
When trying this at home (only laptop screen), I select "Enter Edit Mode" and I do not get the bar to add widgets and panels at the top of the screen (could it be because my panel is positioned at the top of the screen and set to auto-hide?). However, I tried following your instructions at work with another monitor attached, and on that screen it does appear and allow me to add the panel on that screen. I then selected "Manage desktops and panels..." and was able to move it to my main screen. Thank you, the problem is solved!
