Hello I have a problem where I will go to use my Windows VM for something and the entire system will hard reset on me I can't seem to figure it out and I'm asked around and my friends and the r/VFIO folks don't seem to know either. I will provide a dmesg output and a journalctl -b -1 output and my VM XML our leading guess is a hardware bus fault but we don't know if anyone knows how to help me I would appreciate the help thanks.

I want to meation that I have a riser but I think its unlike that its the riser that is the problem because its the same manufacturer as my case but at the same time I am getting some stuff with the VM
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09RXMBLT4?psc=1/ riser in question
the errors in dmesg when the VM starts up
Timed out during operation: cannot acquire state change lock (held by monitor=remoteDispatchDomainCreate)vfio-pci 0000:10:00.0: not ready 16383ms after FLR; waiting its weird because the vfio-pci address its talking about is my wifi card which I passed to it which is a part of the motherboard MEDIATEK Corp. MT7922 802.11ax
also to note it takes a signification amount of time for the VM to start but it does start but later the system instantly restarts for some reason

the first couple things I've tried is reseating the GPU and riser and switched from normal qemu to the qemu-git aur package
I have the VM up now and I am waiting for it to crash

Does it also happen when you dont pass the wifi card?

Most of the links in #1 do not work.
The first one has a / at the end that makes it fail, the 2nd and 4th link to this forum (which doesn't support attachments).
please upload the files to a public location that's not pastebin.com , https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/List_o … n_services
The VM xml file suggests you are trying to combine PCI passthrough through OVMF with looking glass ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

I have replaced the pastebin links with github gist all info should be there and yes I am using PCI passthrough through OVMF with looking glass.
