My laptop sometimes freeses for about 5 sec and goes to display Manage
My laptop sometimes freezes for about 5 sec and then goes black screen with this symbol ">" in the top right corner.
and finally goes to display Manager.
can someone help me diagnose this problem?

This typically means the session or the display manager crashed, you'll likely find traces of that in your system journal after it happend.
