Error changing theme in sddm

I've tried to change the theme once  and I got an error that caused the computer to freeze, and I couldn't even access the error screen. Then I looked for the necessary files and downloaded them again. Before rebooting, I used the command sddm-greeter-qt6 --test-mode --theme /usr/share/sddm/themes/sugar-candy, which gave me an error saying that the module GtGraphicalEffects is not installed. I searched and found this /usr/lib/debug/usr/lib/qt/qml/QtGraphicalEffects. Then I tried installing KDE because from its configuration I can change the theme, and it worked. The problem is that it gives a "session failed" message even when the password is correct. I had to use a USB and mount the partition to change the file /etc/sddm.conf.d/kde_settings.conf to the default theme, allowing me to log in.
Can anyone help me or tell me what I can do?
