Despite avahi running, pcmanfm doesn't show network shares

Hi,

- openbox WM

- PCManFM is lauched via the command

exo-open --launch FileManager

- Avahi seems to work fine, although it doesn't see any samba share from the router

- I can stil manually connect to my samba share with

mount -t cifs [...]

- gvfs-smb is installed

Still the network:/// place in PcManFM is empty.

Older network discovery methods have been deprecated.  If you enter smb://<machine-name or IP on the URL bar in the file manager, samba shares for a single machine will show up and allow access (if you have the right credentials, of course...).

There is also a very recent gvfs-wsdd which supports the newer web-discovery share detection methods. Seems to depend on how well avahi is set up.
