not able to take screenshot using flameshot

i am using dwm tiling manager and have arch linux i installed flameshot, but whenever i try to run flameshot gui it gives error as Failed to create wl_display (No such file or directory)
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "wayland" in "" even though it was found.
flameshot: error: Unable to detect desktop environment (GNOME? KDE? Sway? ...)
flameshot: error: Hint: try setting the XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP environment variable.
pls help

Try from the terminal:

export XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=dwm
flameshot gui

are you using an xorg window manager and got an error in the wayland plugin? perhaps this appears to be a configuration error. Flameshot is trying to use a "wayland" version but you are using x11.
