How to remove alsa static / white-noise in microphone input

As title says, I am running a pure alsa system and my microphone input, although it works with reasonable quality, also plays static noise along with my voice. I only increased Capture in alsamixer so Mic boost is disabled, turning off snd_hda_intel's power saving also didn't work.
A few related outputs:
$ arecord -L
null
    Discard all samples (playback) or generate zero samples (capture)
default:CARD=PCH
    HDA Intel PCH, ALC269VC Analog
    Default Audio Device
sysdefault:CARD=PCH
    HDA Intel PCH, ALC269VC Analog
    Default Audio Device
front:CARD=PCH,DEV=0
    HDA Intel PCH, ALC269VC Analog
    Front output / input

$ cat /proc/asound/card*/codec* | grep Codec
Codec: Realtek ALC269VC
Codec: Intel Skylake HDMI

Re: How to remove alsa static / white-noise in microphone input

What type of mic do you use and how (as in: what type of cable and connector) is it connected to your system?
Static on inputs is usually either caused by ground loops or often by just cheap quality ADCs and mics.
