Hi all,
since some weeks my external monitors do not wake up anymore after the display/monitors go to sleep/power saving mode.
Also disconnecting and connecting again to the dock does not work. The only way to get it run again is to reboot.
The monitors are connected via a Thinkpad Pro Dock on a Thinkpad T14s with an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro. I have also tried a different USB-C dock for which the same issue appears.
If I am honest, then I don't know how to debug this. Does anybody experience the same problem or can give me a starting point for debugging this?
uname -a
Linux arch-work 6.1.39-3-lts #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Wed, 02 Aug 2023 10:12:55 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux
As window manager I use xmonad
xmonad --version
xmonad 0.15
Thank you.

Since the thread is almost a year old, let's first check how close we are to the OP problem:
The monitors are connected via a Thinkpad Pro Dock on a Thinkpad T14s with an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro. I have also tried a different USB-C dock for which the same issue appears.
Same hardware?
Same problem w/ an X11 session (openbox, i3, icewm, doesn't matter)?

FYI: I don't have that problem anymore, however I have no clue what caused this.
