Hello, i'm an archlinux new user, and I have a question about the package keepassxc.
It seems version 2.7.7 (the latest available on archlinux is unstable (crash everyday as reported upstream by this user : https://github.com/keepassxreboot/keepa … sues/10711 I have the same problem)
I'm very tempted to "tweak" the PKGBUILD to build locally the 2.7.8 package, which may fix the problem.
If I do this instead of waiting the official archlinux package, do I miss some critical steps ?
I was wondering if maybe the maintainers are doing some testing before releasing the package ? (as keepassxc is a *very* sensitive app)

you additionally have the option to use the flatpak, appimage or snap.
All of these releases seem to be "official", see https://keepassxc.org/download

Hi,
I'm one of the maintainer of the keepassxc Arch package. The update to 2.7.8 is held back because of a issue when running the tests (https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/ … =heads#L39).
I haven't got the time to take a deeper look at it yet, I'll try to do that soon. Sorry for the delay.

The issue is fixed!
Keepassxc v2.7.8 is currently in the [extra-testing] repository. I'll move it to [extra] as soon as it got some testing (which shouldn't take too long).
