Error running archinstall on MacBook9,1

I'm trying to install Arch on an old MacBook (2016 retina model) and am getting an error with the archinstall command.

The error as shown in the linked image here.

I'm also unable to do a manual install as, for some reason, the screen does not scroll down, so output and interactive prompts quickly disappear off the bottom of the screen.

Please can anyone advise?

Seems it doesn't like your partition table, do yourself a favor and install arch properly - https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Installation_guide
You'll learn a lot of things won't be left with a system you don't actually understand.

Oh, and it'll actually work.
