Lo guys,
I don't know if this is a known issue or not but pacman -Syu just upgraded my xorg-server and some version of jre. This action totally broke my beryl install.
beryl-manager just doesn't start anymore and i had to roll back from a backup to make it work again.
My question is: has this new xorg-server been properly tested with beryl and do other people experience the same problem ? is this a known issue and being worked on ?
Thanks in advance for any answers in this issue...
Before i forget to mention i am using nvidia for gfx.

make sure that you use the same server(s) for unstable and current & extra in your pacman.conf. maybe the current mirror is updated but the unstable one is not.

I'm having the same issue - seems like the problems started for me after the update with xorg, libgl-dri, and xf86-video-ati.

downgrade libgl-dri to 6.5.1-3 and it won't use the new texture allocation features from mesa 6.5.2, which are buggy for AIGLX. A bugreport is already filed in our bugtracker, aswell as upstream at freedesktop.org.

Where can I find the older package? I do not have a cached version of it.

Same here with i810 chipset. Downgraded libgl-dri and all works OK now. Will put in pacman hold list and await bugfix.

Hm, but not for me (Intel 945GM). After downgrade of libgl-dri-6.5.2-1 back to libgl-dri-6.5.1-3, I had to downgrade xorg-server-1.1.1-5 to xorg-server-1.1.1-4 and xf86-video-i810-1.7.3-1 to xf86-video-i810-1.6.5-2 to get it back working.
