Hi there,
I have a Sony WH-1000MX3 bluetooth headset. The system is up to date with plasma, bluez, pipewire and wireplumber.
Is there a way to set a default volume when I connect my headset via bluetooth?
For example, I leave my volume at 50% late at night and want it to be at 25% when reconnecting my headset the next day.
What I did so far:
I deactivated restore-default-routes in wireplumber, and set a default volume with wpctl, this did not help.
Then I wrote a bash script, which was executed by an udev rule, but this still gets overwritten immediately, it lowers the volume and something ups it to the last value.
Is there something that overwrites the volume besides wireplumber? Maybe something plasma/kde related?
I observed the following (since installing arch with plasma), when using my headset:
When connecting my headset it shows the plasma volume widget with a (seemingly random?) number, then it shows up a second time with the last volume. and then it often (but not every time) sets the volume a third time (mostly up by 1%). So 25% gets 26% for some reason.
Thanks.
