Frequent app crashes and animation sutters (only on X11)

For some time now I have this weird issue with my system where most apps just crash after some time or in other way break making them unusable no matter if I used Wayland or X11, it really looks like something NVIDIA related (driver versions i had this issue: 535, 550 and 555 beta)
Here are the examples of that:
- Vesktop goes white and does not respond really to anything
- Spotify just crashes or reloads itself
- Firefox/Librewolf just crashes
- In minecraft JVM crashes or something leaving game frozen requiring manual kill (log: https://mclo.gs/STvDWx1 )
- Most Games just crash after some time (example stacktrace log from SCP:SL https://pastebin.com/V7tST1yF )
- Animations in KDE Plasma are very laggy (Only in X11 session)

Everything is updated obviously

For any help I would be really thankful :)

You aren't crashing anywhere that would scream graphics driver in those two logs, if you're unlucky faulty RAM or so. Run a memtest over night. Are you running OOM?

In any case when observing these behaviours post the full output of

sudo journalctl -b

I’ve been having an issue where my RAM won’t run at its 3200MHz profile and only at 3000MHz. So maybe that's it but i never had this issue under Windows or Linux Mint and Debian, Well on arch i have this issue only for like a month. I’m going to run memtest

About OOM, systemd-oomd is disabled so i don't think OOM is running (unless i misunderstood what you meant)

I meant whether you are actually running out of available memory when these happens. How much RAM do you have and how does it's usage look like in these scenarios? If you're close to full, consider adding a swap file/partition.

I have 32 GB so I've never run out of memory but after one pass of memtest86 I have 33 errors so probably this... idk what to do now

Re: Frequent app crashes and animation sutters (only on X11)

replace the RAM, you can't trust it when it errors out in memtest. If you're lucky it's only a particular stick that's bad but you'd have to check and rerun memtest with differing configurations. If it's only a certain region you "might" be apple to mark certain regions as unsafe so they aren't used but I'd not generally trust that when you're already having bad blocks.

well it will be annoying as cpu cooler blocks access to memory sticks. I will try to disconnect one stick just enough to try it on 1 stick at a time. Anyways thank you very much for help I didn't think it could be related to memory
