I recently installed arch linux again from a new iso(i have used arch linux for a year now) but surprisingly this time when i installed sddm and tried to do the autologin thing by editing the conf at /etc/sddm.conf i get this error(title). I suspect 2 things:-
1. i used chatgpt to do autologin for arch linux directly(it made me make a new service for it, but i closed the service)
2. sddm just doesnt work(i might have done somthing wrong)
I use xorg with bspwm (not my dotfiles- dotfiles at gh0stzk github)

Can you change to a different tty (ctrl+alt+F3)? You should be able to if it's a DM problem.
From there, look at "systemctl status sddm.service | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st" and "journalctl -b 0 | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st' " (as root) and post the links it outputs.
Fuck chatgpt, RTFM: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/SDDM#Autologin, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Getty# … al_console, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Greetd … _autologin, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pam_autologin ...
For a dwm, which isn't a DE, I'd go with the second link and start dwm with your shell.

Why I run Arch? To "BTW I run Arch" the guy one grade younger.
And to let my siblings and cousins laugh at Arsch Linux...
