Warning+Workaround - discord out of date, will refuse to start up

If you have discord running and restart it now, the auto-updater will realize there is an update, which isn't in the arch repo yet.
If you decide to "figure it out" the updater will refuse to start up.
So just keep it running until an update is officially available.

Did you try the work-around listed in the wiki https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Discor … repository?

Adding

"SKIP_HOST_UPDATE": true

to the config still works for me.

Nice, works for starting up.
But this workaround needs to be unapplied asap again, in order for the user to notice if an actual important update is pushed, right?
Ie it's not a thing you should keep permanently in your config file.

I never had any problems just leaving it in. You'll get the update eventually via pacman from the arch repository as soon as the package is upgraded there.

Hm, sounds feasible!
