Nettle 3.10 breaks 32bit-nettle dependancy

I am having an issue updating today, when running 'sudo pacman -Syu' I am getting 'installing nettle (3.10-1) breaks dependency 'nettle=3.9.1' required by lib32-nettle'. I am pretty new to linux in general, but I assume the next 32bit update for nettle will fix this, however in the mean time I am unable to update.
Am I just going to have to wait this out (not a big deal)

The version of nettle in core is 3.9.1-1. Only in core-testing will you find version 3.10-1. Do you have core-testing enabled, but not multilib-testing?

At the time of this thread, the updated version was not in multilib-testing. It's been fixed.

I can confirm the issue, right now it is not possible to update nettle to 3.10 due to a requirement of lib32-nettle, which seems to be a requirement for steam-native-runtime.
Multilib is still on lib32-nettle 3.9.
OP isn't mentioning testing, stable core and multilib aren't on the same page right now.

We'll have to wait, in the mean time you can just "pacman -Syu --ignore nettle"

There is no problem at this moment. If you have a problem, make a thread and describe what you're seeing.

EDIT: Oh, nettle got moved 18 minutes ago. This is a totally different problem then the OP had.

The problem is that core is on nettle 3.10, but multilib is on lib32-nettle 3.9, which is the reason OP created this thread.

No, the problem the OP had was that nettle 3.10 was in core-testing and lib32-nettle didn't get updated at all.

I am also seeing the same error when attempting to `pacman -Syu` today

I do not have any testing repos enabled.

Looking at https://archlinux.org/packages/core/x86_64/nettle/, nettle 3.10-1 does seem to be the version on core at time of writing. Multilib still appears to be on 3.9.1-1: https://archlinux.org/packages/multilib … 32-nettle/.

We are 3 here telling you we currently cannot update because of this package, and that https://archlinux.org/packages/multilib … 32-nettle/ is on 3.9, I don't understand you reaction.
Obviously you're not looking and making assumptions than OP was on testing where he most likely isn't.

All right so reading it twice you assume OP is on testing because when he posted this core nettle was still 3.9 ?
Sorry about this, I don't understand why someone who's "new to linux" would choose testing repos, but here we are.

Suggest moving past exactly what OP had going on and just focus on the current situation. Are we agreed that the nettle version difference between core and multilib is breaking system updates for people who have dependencies on both? If so, what are the steps to fix?

I have this too just now, and I certainly didnt enable testing. Its a regular dependency issue, has nothing to do with enabling testing.
