Plasma 6.1 explicit sync

Is there anything specific that needs to be configured to make use of the new Nvidia compatibility fixes? Or a way to test if explicit sync is being used?

Pretty sure it will just be used if available by the driver. Can you run xwayland (proton) applications without them devolving into a flickering eyesore? Note you'll also need nvidia-beta for this to work properly currently.

Re: Plasma 6.1 explicit sync

I haven’t seen any difference since switching from stable to the beta 555 driver. Then again I have tried every hack in the book to get things stable before I heard about the update. I’m going to try removing all the environment overrides I have in place and see.

My system is borked. Gonna double check the backup of my home folder and nuke it.
