Beryl and new xf86-video-ati causes white textures

After the last update of xf86-video-ati and mesa, I cannot get beryl to work correctly anymore. I'm using AIGLX with the open source radeon drivers.
At first everything looks ok, but after a very short time of doing something, windows / backgrounds etc start to turn white. I did not have this problem with the previous driver, and I was wondering if other people had seen the same and/or if they found a solution.
I run the beryl-version found in unstable, but I also tried the latest from svn, compiled using versionpkg (2079 I think it was). Both has the same result.
A restart of beryl fixes the problem, but it will reappear within a very short time.
So, has anyone else noticed this?

I'm running kernel26-beyond btw, with a ATi Mobility Radeon X700.
