Hello everyone,
I've noticed that KRdp + Remote Viewer is suddenly always installed on my Arch Linux KDE setup. I'm curious about this and have a few questions:
Installation Persistence: Why is KRdp + Remote Viewer consistently installed on Arch Linux KDE systems? Has there been a recent change or update that mandates this installation?
Security Concerns: Is there a specific security reason for KRdp + Remote Viewer being installed by default? Are there potential security risks associated with removing it?
Removal Challenges: I've encountered difficulties in removing KRdp + Remote Viewer without disrupting the system stability. Is there a recommended method to safely remove it without causing issues on KDE?
Exploring Alternatives: Given these considerations, would it be advisable or necessary to consider alternative desktop environments or configurations that do not include KRdp + Remote Viewer by default?
I appreciate any insights.

There is nothing installed by default on Arch Linux, and no such thing as an "Arch Linux KDE setup". If you don't want krdp, just remove it.

Don't use archinstall, making predetermined choices that you potentially don't agree with comes with the territory of an opinionated installer.

You can not remove Krdp, because it's apart of plasma-meta package so it will break KDE as it is apart of the meta package and it requires the Deps it is annoying when doing steamplay on steam and each time I want to either move my mouse or gamepad on the gaming pc it will pop up this remote desktop input share thingy and honestly I can't do nothing on the box where I want to sit down on the couch and play my game in peace on the big screen and this popup keeps popping up it is like malware to me this has no business on steam and KDE shouldnt include this. This is not Arch Linux fault, this is a KDE problem and i'm about to leave KDE again due to forcing features that no user ask for. They leave out dolphin and konsole which should be the core part of plasma-meta and it allows you remove that, but Krdp they won't allow you do remove that... That to me is very strange.

meta packages are meta packages that group packages together, but aren't containing anything that would make them required, you can remove single components which will drop your meta package. If you ever want packages from a specific group but not others, occasionally rerun
pacman -S groupname --neededthen select the specific things you want.

You clearly don't understand how KDE software is distributed and packaged. As I said: if you don't want krdp, remove it. What you can't have is plasma-meta installed (which by definition depends on *all* Plasma packages) and not have some Plasma package installed.
