Hi everybody,
I freshly installed Archlinux, with KDE plasma, following This tutorial on youtube. Everything is working well. However, my problem is that quite often (but not always) the system remains frozen on a black screen at the shutdown, displaying error messages that I cannot understand.
My procedure for the shutdown is from the terminal via the command
shutdown --no-wall Unfortunately, the problem is not very easy to reproduce, since it happens only from time to time. However, can you help me fix it? first, I guess it would be great if you tell me which information you need to understand what is going on, such that I can collect the relevant information next time the problem arises and then post it here.
Thanks!

Youtube installs are not supported.
However since there are known problems here, assuming you installed nvidia drivers, they have known issues on the current 550 drivers, if you have a Turing+ GPU try switching to nvidia-open, or install nvidia-535 from the AUR, see: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=293400 for details.

Thanks. I tried your suggestion and it is working, for the moment. As I was saying, the problem was occurring from time to time only, and so I cannot be sure that the problem will not appear again in the near future. I marked the post as solved, for the moment.
Thanks again.
