LUKS+LVM after update: Cannot open root device "/dev/mapper/root"

I can't boot my machine anymore. I am using LUKs / LVM. I can mount and chroot into my root drive with the install ISO:
I tried regenerating the GRUB config, but it still doesn't boot.  I also re-ran `mkinitcpio -p linux`.
Any help would be greatly appreciated -- thanks!

Re: LUKS+LVM after update: Cannot open root device "/dev/mapper/root"

hello, you need to provide a little bit more info wink

start by:
/etc/mkinitcpio.conf
/etc/default/grub
/etc/crypttab
journalctl -b

perhaps you need to set UUID instead of path
