Multi Monitor using feh

I am trying to setup different wallpapers on my multi monitor setup. I am currently running Xorg with AwesomeWM.

This is a sample command

feh --randomize --bg-fill /home/madhur/Pictures/wallpapers/evening/1fwbrwr0dszc1.jpeg /home/madhur/Pictures/wallpapers/vertical/05dxmnyie9bc1.jpeg

I have read that it applies wallpaper according to xrandr --listactivemonitors output.

However, for me wallpapers randomly apply either on first or second monitor. Even though output of  xrandr --listactivemonitors is consistent.

Am I m issing something?
