[solved] openoffice-base-2.0.4-1.pkg.tar.gz is corrupt

Have been trying to install open office 2 with pacman, for the past week or so, on different days, using different mirrors. I always get the same message when attempting to install the base package:
error: archive openoffice-base-2.0.4-1.pkg.tar.gz is corrupted

Any advice?

Have you tried clearing out your package cache first?  (pacman -Scc)

No, I hadn't tried that. But I just did and after clearing the cache, oo installed fine.
