Specific games freezing my pc and turning screens with weird colors

While playing some specific games my screens turn colorful and everything freezes, sometimes looping the last second of sound.

I looked for solutions but couldn't find anything.

It mainly happens while playing CS2 but has happened with FFXIV and while emulating with ryujinx.

I don't know what logs I need to show or how to upload images.

My specs are: R5 5600x, XFX RX580, 16GB 3600MHz ram, gigabyte b550 gaming x motherboard

your hardware is more than capable of running those games (cs2 still runs on early 2010s hardware) - from those "weird colors" it sounds to me like:
- overheating - check the coolers fins for dust / failed fans
- bad memory (both system ram as well as video-ram) - maybe caused by previous mentioned overheating
- some weird driver issues (I had funky triangles on my rx570 in satisfactory when using one of the amd drivers - switch to mesa radv solved it for me)

Thanks, I remember install amdgpu-pro drivers but gpu-viewer says I have MESA radv drivers. I'll try not overclocking the ram to 3600 and have it on 3200 to check if it fixes anything.
