Hi guys,
I got a comment on one of my AUR packages asking to add glib2-devel as a makedepend. It looks like something got changed in the repos' glib2 packaging and some (AUR) packages now need glib2-devel as a new make dependency. I couldn't find any information on this change though, so I'm not really sure which further packages might need it as well. Is there some kind of news entry or some information on a mailing list which I've missed? Thanks for any hints!
Best

The very worst thing you can do with free software is to download it, see that it doesn't work for some reason, leave it, and tell your friends that it doesn't work. - Tuomas Lukka

The best way to verify if a package needs glib2-devel is to build it in a clean chroot .
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
