The laptop itself reboots (the screen just goes black and the machine starts to boot up). This happens frequently. I didn't see anything suspicious in the logs, and there are no records of the cause at the moment of the shut down. I found a workaround that significantly reduces the number of these sudden reboots: running something three-dimensional (like the spinning cube with goverlay constantly minimized).
There are no problems when running on battery power.
What I have tried:
1. Using the lts kernel.
2. Switching to discrete graphics in UEFI mode.
3. Disabling C6-state in kernel parameters.
4. Different versions of the Nvidia driver.
5. Reinstalling the system.
6. Xorg \ Wayland.
7. Different versions of amd-ucode.
8. Completely disabling BT \ Wifi modules.
9. Disabling swap.
One of the recent updates has added new symptoms - now the laptop must always be in red mode (performance can be switched using Fn+Q) or the workaround stops working completely. Also, connecting via Bluetooth (to a headset, for example) increases the number of reboots.
The hardware is 100% functional, and there are no similar issues on Windows.
Where should I start looking, and what data should I provide for diagnosis?

This also happens to be, and I'm using ThinkPad P15V with intel CPU and I meet exactly the same problem as you since an update in May and I cannot figure out why. I got a lot of strange messages in system journal like:

before reboot. I dot know if you have similar problems.
Edit:
It seems there exist some bugs in nvidia driver, when I totally disabled nvidia drivers and devices, everything just works fine.

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad gaming 3. They have the same mobo 15ach6h with rtx 3060.
Have you updated your uefi firmware?
Are you enabling the nvidia-resume suspend etc?
And lastly: have you configured this?
`/etc/modprobe.d/nvidia.conf`:
options nvidia NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations=1 NVreg_TemporaryFilePath=/var/tmp NVreg_UsePageAttributeTable=1
And you should also enable Early kms.
The last option would be disabling the GSP firmware and see if the problem persists.

Hey all, same issue. just started today which was really off putting. is this an issue with just the newest nvidia driver? I had left my laptop without an update and the reboots had started on that approx 2 week old version.

I have also started experiencing random reboots on my Legion 5 15ACH6H. I had been having issues with it freezing but that seemed to get fixed after a BIOS update.
There is nothing suspicious in the logs leading up to the random reboots and I haven't had much luck with getting extra information using netconsole logging or using the crashkernel functionality with kexec. Although those not working may just me not correctly setting them up. I have also done a memtest with no issues reported by it.
The most reboots I've gotten is when i have a YouTube video playing. It's completely stable under load.
