Burn m4a files with k3b

I have m4a files i would like ton burn to audiocd with k3b.
K3b loads them up and it seems that it converts it correctly, but the wav files generated are only 5 seconds tracks. I saw no error message.

Can k3b burn m4a files or must I convert it manually?

Are you on 32 or 64 bit? I know under 64 bit there are all sorts of problems with FAAC and FAAD. On my box, K3B crashes when trying to do anything with m4a files. Also, Ffmpeg and Mencoder (in some circumstances) are having troubles.

32bits.
K3b don't crash and all seems ok.
