Morning All,
Currently running 550 but with all the kernel panic worry I need to move over to nvidia-535xx-dkms.
On my existing setup I have got the pacman hook, module lines added and nvenc all working.
What is the best practice for removing my existing driver and moving over to the 'new old' nvidia-535xx-dkms drivers?
I am aware of the need to install linux-headers.
Thanks

Change your pacman hook to trigger on nvidia-535xx-dkms instead of nvidia, after that installing nvidia-535-dkms properly (i.e. installing all the distinct packages it creates at the "same" time) will prompt you to seamlessly replace the relevant nvidia counterparts.

Okay thanks, that looks good
Now installing from aur I should follow the Arch AUR guide to create the nvidia-535xx-dkms into a package that pacman can install?
