[Solved] KDE - cannot find any application

Hi all,
I've just updated my arch to the latest packages and I got troubles with plasma KDE;
It seems the GUI does not recognized application anymore;
the list application is empty; search is always empty.
Files are not linked to an app anymore and it is not possible to link them (the list of programs is empty).
The only way to launch a GUI app (firefox for instance) is by using a CLI.

/usr/share/applications is still filled with all .desktop files.

Is someone have any ideas of what's wrong ?

Thanks

Re: [Solved] KDE - cannot find any application

Hi,
I followed SolidStrong solution;
"Download plasma-workspace and extract it.
- copy etc/xdg/menus/plasma-applications.menu to ~/.config/menus/applications.menu
- copy plasma-applications.menu to /etc/xdg/menus/applications.menu
- run kbuildsycoca6"
It works fine.
Thanks andrematias for the link, I did not find it smile
