A random linear gradient in the vector-sticky-pinned-container

There is a random linear gradient on each vector-sticky-pinned-container class on css ::after for each page on the wiki
Here's example

The image above is taken with from the arch wiki. But it was with the dark reader addon on firefox.

After looking at it while the dark reader is turned off, the gradient is not even visible. and is at least 5 em off from the nav.

The real question I have is, why does that exist? Is it relevant in any way? If so, how?

EDIT: URL change hope its correct now

You can ask MediaWiki why they make these choices ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You can also switch to Timeless wink
