Hello,
I installed arch (and KDE Plasma) on my HP Pavillion today, after using windows. I'm new to this open-source stuff, so apologies in advance if I say/do anything stupid.
ISSUE: The internal audio isn't working. This includes system sounds, Youtube- and Spotify audio. I've tried to get to the bottom of the issue but none of the earlier solutions seem to work, and some make things work even less. I don't seem to be the only one with this issue, but I can't manage to piece a solution together by myself. Below are the things I've tried so far:
1) Installing pulseaudio alsa or anything related to it => Youtube breaks, and videos don't even load.
2) looking for sound drivers/installers specific to my system => There was an helpful page on Ubuntu with a lot of HP models, but not mine.
3) Rebooting/updating pretty much everything.
I saw in some threads that the lspci info was asked, so here it is:

I have no idea why it works, I'm just posting this to avoid being the dreaded "nvm I figured it out" guy that people cuss out months later. I installed and uninstalled the alsa, restarting after installation and uninstallation. Now it works. I wish I knew why. Have a nice day, to whoever reads this. I hope it works eventually for you as well.
