Files (nautilus) takes too long to list a rclone webdav directory

Hello,

I  use `rclone` to mount a remote webdav to a local directory.

I can access the directory within Terminal and list files with `ls` command smoothly, even the directory contains hundreds of files. But when it comes to **Files** application (the package is nautilus 46.2-1), when I access the directory with a lot of files, it takes very long to list all files. It displays "Loading" in the bottom right corner of the Files UI.

I think this is related to **Files** because using commands in Terminal can list all files properly and quickly.

It's appreciated if you have any clues. I didn't find related issues with Google. Thanks.

A GUI file manager will likely also want to read associated metadata, potentially index the contents and other such shenanigans. Depending on how "I'm mounting a webdav to a local directory" happens exactly, the fact that it's "remote" might get lost and the entire indexing/tracker tooling wanting to look at everything. See e.g. https://askubuntu.com/a/1046308 for what might help in avoiding triggering an index-

Hello @V1del, Thank you for pointing out the issue regarding metadata. I think this is the right direction. I tried the methods mentioned in the link, but none of them worked. I will keep trying to search and see if I get lucky.
