File conflict resulting from pacman -Syu

When I try to update my system (ie. run pacman -Syu with root privileges) I get the following error:

Now I do have lm_sensors but it's never worked properly because I don't have the 'coretemp' kernel module needed for my Intel Core 2 Duo CPU.

When I try to remove lm_sensors (pacman -R lm_sensors) I get a warning that it's needed by kdebase.

How can I get over the above problem so that I can update my system? Do I simply delete the /etc/rc.d/sensors file?

If you're sure that there's no problem with overwriting that file, you can use the -f argument to force pacman.

just remove /etc/rc.d/sensors.
I had the same error and everything is OK now.
