/etc and /mnt/etc

The 0.8 installer includes an opportunity for the user to modify a number of system configuration files.  In a working system, these files are in /etc or /boot, but in the install process, the files presented are in /mnt/etc or /mnt/boot.  Any changes are saved to files in the /mnt hierarchy.

Should I copy these files over to /etc (or /boot) before rebooting?

Re: /etc and /mnt/etc

No, as the hd is temporary mounted to /mnt/something, just edit them, save,  continue the install then reboot.
