SoundBlaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro volume knob and lirc

Hello people, I got this external audio card installed for Linux. Works superb, but the remote and the volume knob does not work. I installed lirc and followed these guides https://web.archive.org/web/20190112214 … nob-linux/ and https://lirc-list.narkive.com/PbICHWH7/ … 820-remote, but the volume knob/remote still wont work. I have the config file in

/etc/lirc/lircd.conf.d/xfi51pro.lircd.conf

and the irexec file in

/home/vektor/.lircrc
