according to the dell datsheet for this system it doesn't come with nvidia graphics - so I assume you have added one yourself
what model exactly you added?
does the card require additional power? have you plugged them all?
have you tried to remove it and run the system on the intel igpu?

…
is linux-firmware installed?
Can you boot the multi-user.target (2nd link below) in doubt along "nomodeset", https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel_parameters
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=218221
You're booting the LTS kernel?

I've added a gtx 1650 with a 500w psu. I haven't tried using the igpu but i will try that now

I've Managed to fix it for some reason grub wouldn't work properly so i had to use systemd and then it worked though i still get errors when i turn on and power down the computer

The problem described in the OP rather has nothing to do w/ the bootloader…

I doubt that systemd-boot vs grub makes a difference for the posted error

when i tried to boot with grub it would boot into the dell recovery mode

Ie the bootloader just wasn't properly installed tbw?
You didn't "switch" but rather "get one".
