Wireless Interfaces [RESOLVED]

I have an Intel PRO Wireless 3945 PCIe card installed.  I also have a Realtek RTL8169 Gigabit ethernet card.  The ethernet card is 'eth0' but the ipw3945 shows up as 'eth2':

[n00b@archlinux ~]$ iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

eth1 no wireless extensions.

eth2 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:"ShagNet"
          Mode:Managed Frequency:2.457 GHz Access Point: 00:18:4D:3C:DC:E2
          Bit Rate:54 Mb/s Tx-Power:15 dBm
          Retry limit:15 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
          Power Management:off
Link Quality=92/100 Signal level=-41 dBm Noise level=-42 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:1 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:9 Missed beacon:0

But what is 'eth1' doing there and why isn't my ipw3945 set as 'eth1'??

Re: Wireless Interfaces [RESOLVED]

eth1 is the firewire card

Have you tried to turn it off and on again?

Re: Wireless Interfaces [RESOLVED]

Thx.  It had me stumped.  How did you know I had a firewire card?

Re: Wireless Interfaces [RESOLVED]

You tell us, you have one ethernet and one wireless card, and have three cards in ifconfig named "eth", it must be a firewire card.
