Hello,
I cannot find a way to instuct mkarchiso to delete some files from my work directory, after it has installed all packages, but before it generates the iso.
Is there any way?

The idea for mkarchiso seems to be to start with an empty work directory.
Why are you starting with files in the work directory and what is their purpose ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

No, I'm not starting with files in the work directory. After the work directory is populated, and before the iso is produced, I need to delete some files.

This is beginning to sound like an x-y problem.
Please explain what creates those files and why you want to delete them.

Ok. I use panther-launcher-git, which works on X11 but not on Wayland, because of a bad configuration file. To make it work, I have to delete one file.
I don't really want to create my own version of the package. I thought there could be a way in archiso, after you install the packages in the work dir, to do some "rework".
