Hello! Recently I wanted to try out blender and wanted to see if switching from mesa-amber to mesa would help it start it didn't. I've realised that my IGPU is no longer supported. After this I tried playing team fortress 2 (opengl game) on steam-runtime and got the following error:
`Failed to create SDL window: Couldn't find matching GLX visual`
I had switched back to mesa-amber before getting this error. Happens both on steam-runtime and steam-native so issue must not be steam?
More information:
system specs:
Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.6 GHz
Intel HD 4000 graphics
glxgears and glxgears32 work without issue.
Unsure what the problem is any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Outputs of
glxinfo -B
glxinfo32 -B
full terminal output of an attempted TF2 start and your xorg log.
FWIW chances are that TF2 requires more modern features than your iGPU is technically capable to provide, afaik they had a bigger update not too long ago.

Sorry for my late response! Thank you for replying so quick.

Let me know if you need anything else. The game is about 17 years old and im using the legacy launch option (launches tf2 in opengl mode) I don't think the system requirements would change that drastically but im not sure.

I reinstalled Arch Linux and the issue solved itself. I know its not the best option for anyone else dealing with this problem. But I think the answer might've been switching back to mesa. After reading the wiki during installation it suggested mesa for Gen 3 and above. I forgot this fact because i used to be on Gen 2 until a few months ago when i rebuilt my computer. Thank you for helping!
