Firefox and Opera Very slow

If I  use firefox 2 or Opera the navigation is extremely slow.
But if I use Konqueror the speed is normal.

(I think that is a problem with network  )

Do you have some idea?

Yes.  My Firefox crawls.  I fixed it substantially by optimizing the devil out of it with ABS (-march=pentium-m -O3 -pipe).  It is beautiful now.
