Soundcard from laptop not detected/working when connected to HDMI

Hi!

I have a laptop running Arch. Everything works like a charm but since an update to plasma6, my soundcard disappears whem I connect tio my HP Dock G4. The monitors don't have speakers so I cant hear anything. Selecting the speaker icon in my tray does not show anything other than the HDMI outputs. Hoe do I fix this?

Can you give the output of the following commands?

sudo dmidecode| grep "Product Name"

(Tells me what laptop model you are using)

aplay -l

(Tells me if the soundcard if being detected)

lspci | grep -i "audio"

(Check what audio devices are detected)
