Hi! Can't tell since which version I've started having the issue, it all started about 2-3 weeks ago, I was using zen daily and never had any issue with it, after an update however my system started to randomly freeze, it can freeze mere minutes after booting or after hours, can be during playing some hardware heavy games or during just watching youtube. The freeze is permanent and it takes a good few seconds for the PC to reboot when I use the reset button.
There're no logs from the moment it happens, it also won't react to magic sys rq shortcuts.
It happens on zen and linux, it doesn't on LTS.
So it's definitely something with latest changes in the kernel.
Got another update for zen and linux few days ago, and at least on zen the issue is still there.
Could you recommend me what else can I do about it? Ideally I'd like to have some means of capturing the error, to report it, but journalctl unfortunately just abruptly ends (often minutes before the freeze) with nothing seemingly useful.
One thing I've noticed is that the freezes tend to (but not always) happen at specific moments, like few seconds after I make a video playing fullscreen, or whenever I get some sort of popup in a game (or rather, just prior to that). But they can happen even if I do absolutely nothing, other than having a fullscreen video playing.
Kind regards!
