[SOLVED] Brave & Chrome work in XWayland but not Wayland

Hey friends, I have Brave and Chrome installed in my OS. I noticed that they use XWayland. I wanted to try making them work specifically in Wayland by setting the configuration appropriately but when I do that and launch the web browsers, I can see in the application panel that they've been launched (i.e., the icon in the panel shows that the application is open), however there is no window for the application drawn anywhere on the screen. Hovering over the application in the panel shows a card with a preview of nothing.

I tried installing Slack for Wayland to see if electron had the same issue. I used https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/slac … op-wayland and it worked as expected.

Any advice on where to start troubleshooting? Are there specific logs I can provide?

Thanks!

Edit - solved. The following is the relevant portion of my ~/.config/brave-flags.conf, but is the same as chrome-flags.conf and chromium-flags.conf

--enable-features=UseOzonePlatform
--ozone-platform=wayland
--enable-features=WebRTCPipeWireCapturer
--enable-features=WaylandWindowDecorations
--disable-features=WaylandFractionalScaleV1
